Our state of mind can have an effect on our general health and well-being.  Whilst we can understand the pain caused by a broken bone, the pain and stress experienced in our mind is not so easy to understand or heal

 

Counselling is a process in which a person can talk through personal issues or concerns that are causing distress or having a negative effect on their life.  

 

Talking in Counselling allows a person or couples to explore and understand their issues, feelings or behaviors and then help them to find ways to move forward.

 

Counselling takes place in a confidential setting on a one to one basis or in respect of couple counseling, the couple and the Therapist.  The overall aim is to explore ways a person/s can make changes, grow personally and develop coping strategies and life skills.
